Coach Rick Kane Coach Rick Kane is entering his 7th season as head coach of various levels of basketball. In summer of 2025 he was a practice player with the Seattle Storm, as well as the 2023 season with the Phoenix Mercury, helping assist in the players individual training sessions, mainly Diana Taurasi and Britney Griner. He was also the head girls varsity coach for the 2023/2024 season at Shadow Mountain High School after being promoted from Head Frosh coach where he attended as a student from 2000-2004.  He spent his first 3 years coaching in Denver before moving back to Phoenix. Prior to taking his first coaching job in Denver, he spent the previous 10 years living in L.A, where for 6 of the 10 years, he was working many different jobs in the movie industry as well as running his own music venue on the sunset strip from 2017-2019.

He just attained his Associate’s degree fall of 2025, and transferring to ASU to pursue a Bachelor’s in exercise science while creating his own LLC for basketball player development training.
